Sheetal Agrawal, founder and Principal Interior Designer at The Canvas Project, was approached by a young couple to give a complete makeover of their space and with a freehand to design as per their likings.

The brief was to completely transform the space with neat lines, functionally aligned elements with a touch of eye soothing aesthetics while the space should look like a organized one and with a GenZ kid who wanted a playful ambience.

The main door opens into the foyer which serves as a connect between living and kitchen and sets the tone of the house. Foyer is enlighted with a black console to contrast it with the subtle wall shade. An ocean blue crockery unit adds a drama to the overall colour scheme along with a tan hued sofa.

Sandwiched between the dining and living is a kitchen with clean backsplash and countertop in same colour family. A subtle beige shade laminate and a crisp shade of Olive Green on kitchen shutters makes the interior’s seamlessness.

Kid’s bedroom, which has a sense of openness, storage areas and a window sitout. Considering the child’s age, we opted for an energizing blue-and-white colour scheme for this room.
